Chinese Brush Painting Workshop

Step into a calm, creative event space at Duke Street Market, Liverpool, a private room beaming with natural light from the ceiling windows.
Quench your thirst on a drink - coffee, wine, beer or a soft drink - Let the atmosphere settle as you paint expressivley with bamboo brushes.

In this 2.5-hour guided session, you’ll explore traditional Chinese brush techniques using bamboo brushes, sumi ink and mineral paints. Follow along with live demonstrations and create your own seasonal artworks on rice paper—finished on a fan or scroll to take home.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike—just bring yourself, we'll demonstrate all of the topics of the day.
