Dot Tea Bar (一点茶寮) | Berlin, BE

About this Event
The Mid-Autum Festival is one of the biggest traditional holidays in China and the most important food people prepare to celebrate are Mooncakes. They symbolize family unity and reunion, with their round shape representing completeness and the full moon. They are shared among family and friends during this holiday, which celebrates the harvest and lunar appreciation, and also given as gifts to express gratitude.
We will learn how to make a special version of traditional Chinese Mooncakes called "snow skin" Mooncakes, that doesn't require baking. We do everything from scratch, starting with how to prepare the dough and then we will use 3 different types of fillings to stuff these little treats. You'll learn the secrets how to stamp and shape each one beautifully and we will enjoy together afterwards with some delicious tea.
This event will be hosted by Sissi from @eatinginberlin and Ruirui & Lola from @dot.teabar
