Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Charlotte Chinese Story Time (CCST) at SouthPark Library! This is a free, public, family-friendly event featuring Chinese stories, music, movement, and a special art activity.Event Details

Program Highlights
Chinese New Year introduction (short & kid-friendly)
Storytime: Lunar New Year traditions + the story of Nian (年兽)
Learn Chinese New Year vocabulary and simple Chinese numbers
Interactive songs, movement activities, and scarf dance
Special Guest Artist – Ms. Wang
A local artist, Ms. Wang, will lead children in a fun and creative horse-drawing art workshop inspired by Lunar New Year traditions.
Recommended Ages
Best for ages 3–9 (siblings welcome).
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
