Celebrate the opening of Chinese Culture Week (CCW) 2026 with an unforgettable evening of live performance, music, dance and cultural celebration in the magnificent setting of The Merchants' Hall, Edinburgh.

The Opening Carnival marks the beginning of two weeks of Chinese Culture Week at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bringing together artists, cultural organisations and audiences from Scotland, China and around the world. Expect a vibrant programme of specially curated performances, inspiring guest appearances and a festive atmosphere as we launch CCW 2026 under this year's theme, Echoes of Love.
