Chinese Calligraphy Workshop

Practicing Chineses calligraphy isn't just learning a painting technique, it requires the patience and focus of meditation and provides similar benefits. Dr Yan Zhinong will patiently help guide you though the basics of proper hand position, ink creation, brush technique, stroke order and more. This course is appropriate for beginners and intermediate students and does not require any Chinese language skills, though students will certainly learn several during the workshops. It is $100 for all thee sessions, or $50 for a dop-in and includes all the calligraphy mateials: maobi brush, ink, rice paper etc.
