Chimera - Realities and Dreams of the Mind

Chimera is a project that aims for the promotion and spread of new music from young, promising composers, while exploring the qualities of the clarinet and the mysterious world of the mind.

Samuel Freitas aspires to arise curiosity and love for his instrument, as well as to facilitate the connection between the audience and the music for a better experience and understanding of the works of art, which sometimes is hard to grasp in the contemporary “classical” music scenario - each composer will talk to the audience about how their piece reflects a concept/idea.
