Join us for the kick off of the 21st season of Chill on the Hill! Food Trucks will be open starting at 5pm, Music will start at 6:30pm.
Powered by Louie Lucchesi’s unmistakable voice, Louie & The Flashbombs perform original songs co-authored by Lucchesi and veteran Milwaukee songwriter Mike Benign. The group’s songs blend Lucchesi’s love of 1970s New York City rock with Benign’s knack for hooky alternative pop.
Bright-Eyed & Blind's approach conjures the notion of an attitudinally rawer Pat Benatar with, perhaps, notes of Patty Smyth's power pop sensibility and the angular vocal phrasing of Missing Persons’ Dale Bozzio. The overall impression is reminiscent of some of the best FM rock at the cusp of 1979-1980.
