Visit with friends both old and new, and enjoy your choice of over a dozen chilis. The usual fixings will be provided, as well as desserts and beverages (including beer and wine!). All in exchange for a freewill donation and a smile!Can’t stay long? We'll have containers available so you can take your chili to go, or bring your own (suggested additional donation of $2 each).
The chilis will be served while quantities last from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the church basement, but our doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy these happenings on the main level:
* Learn more about the Loess Hills Audubon Society and bid on the great finds offered in their silent auction until 6 p.m. There may be something you can't live without and you'll support a good cause!
* Live piano music by Terry Brooks
* Contribute to "Change for Change", the church's effort to help neighbors and community organizations.
* Enjoy a slideshow of 2024 memories contributed by Sierra Club members and friends.
This is our group's only fundraiser; donations from the door, beverage table, and the to-go options support Northwest Iowa Group of Sierra Club's conservation and outreach efforts. Cash and checks are preferred, but we can process cards for a fee. Please remember to support our friends, too (Change for Change, Loess Hills Audubon Society, and our entertainers).
We'll keep our fingers crossed, but in case of bad weather, we've chosen February 1 as our alternative. If we decide to postpone, we'll do so as far in advance as we can.
