CHILI AT THE BEACH

Join us for fun on Main Street at CHILI AT THE BEACH on Saturday, February 12th from 11am-4pm. Chili Cook-Off, Live Bands, Vendors at Pier Plaza – all benefiting the Boys & Girls Club Huntington Valley.

Stretching along the first three blocks of Main Street, top local restaurants including Killarney’s, Baja Sharkeez, Duke’s Huntington Beach, Avila’s El Ranchito and more, will go up against each other, providing tastes of chili as they compete for Judges Choice or People’s Choice awards. Ticket holders stroll the booth with ballot cards, making notes to help with the difficult decision of choosing their top two favorites. At the same time, ‘blind’ samples are collected and delivered to the private Judge’s area, where they will vote to award “Judges Choice”.

Throughout the day, local bands will hit the two main stages beginning at 11am. On the Main Street/PCH Stage, kick off with Daddy & The Baddys, then catch crowd favorite HB Lifeguard Band “Crew 52” at and The Ramsey Brothers Band. Don’t miss local reggae favorite Triple Thread and surf rock jam band Counterconformity on Main Street/Orange Stage.

Benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, CHILI AT THE BEACH brings Contestants and the Community together to raise critical funds to fulfill the needs of children, including their care, safety, and development, through high-quality adult-supervised activities and programs.
