Children’s Week is an annual event celebrated in Australia in October, celebrating the right of children to enjoy childhood and a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities.
Join us as we celebrate this years' theme, ‘Children have the right to a clean and safe environment’ as we come together at Caterpillar park with a range of activities for everyone to enjoy.
There will be stallholders with information on family support and early childhood development along with fun activities that everyone can take part in. Caterpillar Playground is easily accessible via Park Road with plenty of parking available. Access is available via Reserve Drive for those on foot. The entire park, with the exception of the accessible public toilets is fenced in with safety gates tall enough to stop those little ones from escaping. The park is surrounded by plenty of trees and sails, keeping the area shaded with bench seating throughout.

The Mandurah Early Years Action Group is a collaborative working group of local services that provide support to families and includes Anglicare WA, City of Mandurah, Choyces, OVIS, Playgroup WA and Wanslea.
