Taught by book binder and artisan Ramon Townsend, this shortened version of a full-day marbling class is designed specifically for children and adults. The session will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Mennonite Heritage Center on January 18, 2025. Marbling is one of the easiest crafts any child can master—literally in just a few minutes, your child will become an accomplished marbler. Parents are asked to stay with any children under the age of 13 (no extra charge for the parent). It’s a mistake-free art, and one of the most creative and beautiful. In this 3-hour class, your child will make 10-20 sheets of marbled paper.
The cost of the class is $75 members ($80 for nonmembers), inclusive of all materials and fees. Preregistration is required, and class size is limited.
