WHERE AND WHEN?
Our Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher Training (RCYT 95-Hour) will be held at Hotyo Studio in KLCC, with 2 nights at the wellness retreat centre Sekepeng Serendah, just outside of the city.

The combination of our time in the city studio and in the jungle retreat is the perfect space to practice mindfulness, presence and delve into the creative world of children's yoga & mindfulness.

This Course is for you if:

THE CURRICULUM

Through interactive, experiential activities, group discussions, individual assignments and daily practice teaching time, we will explore:
* Techniques and activities to introduce asana, breath-work and meditation to children aged 3-18 years old
* Partner and group yoga fun for all ages
* Challenging poses for teens & Tweens including arm balances, back bends and inversions
* Combining Educational Philosophy and teaching methodology with Yoga
* Introducing yoga philosophy and practices to children of all ages, including the Chakra System, Yama and Niyama
* Meditation & Visualisation techniques for each age group
* A variety of traditional and alternative Mandala Art Meditations
* Creative Mindfulness activities and techniques
* Therapeutic yoga techniques for children with Special Needs
*Understanding Autism, ADHD, Sensory Disorders, communication difficulties and social-emotional difficulties and how to effectively use yoga for each of these SEN
* Incorporating art, music, dance and nature into children’s yoga
* Hindu Mythology
* Interactive story-telling and yoga journeys for all age groups
* Yoga for children with English as an additional language
* Behaviour management in the yoga class
* Positive & Empathetic language skills
* Planning & sequencing based on children's learning styles and behaviour patterns
