Be Part of the Story: Become a Foster Parent (Children's Wisconsin)
Currently there are more than 6,000 children in foster care in Wisconsin, including 1,800 children in Milwaukee County. Each of these children deserves safety and nurturing in a family setting.
Foster parents provide a temporary home and family for a child until they can be safely reunited with their birth family or placed in a permanent living situation. The purpose of foster care is to allow a child's family time to make changes needed for their child to return home.
Come to this information session to find out more information about a foster care program that's right for you. Current programs include:

- Respite Care
- General Foster Care/Adoption
