Join our community book-sharing event that will showcase inclusive, literacy-rich practices for young children and their families.
The event will feature You Can! by Alexandra Strick and Steve Antony—a story that celebrates children’s strengths, dreams, and rights, while promoting fairness, respect, and belonging.
Noah’s Ark facilitators will use Hanen language strategies to foster engagement and link story content to children's experiences. To support all learners, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools such as key word sign and aided language boards will be integrated.
Outcomes:
• Children will experience inclusive literacy, building skills, confidence, and belonging.
• Families will gain practical tools to support communication and learning.
• The community will model inclusion and strengthen social connections.
