Join the amazing Scottish storyteller Anne Pitcher for a family storytelling session at the University of Aberdeen Zoology Museum.
Anne weaves stories of birds and beasties among the wonderful collections of the museum. Come along for a fun morning of stories, sing-along songs and quirky sound-makers, with Anne and her lively bird and beastie puppets!
✨ About Anne Pitcher
Anne Pitcher is an experienced Scottish storyteller, storytelling trainer and member of the Scottish Storytelling Forum Board. For 18 years she has performed at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival and the Scottish Story Ripple, and has told and gathered stories around the world, from New Zealand to the Arctic Circle.
Anne loves to bring stories alive in an interactive, participative and quirky way — and she is often joined by some of her extraordinary collection of 600 puppets, along with props and music makers!
Above all, Anne believes in telling stories, as the Traveller proverb says, “Eye to eye, heart to heart, mind to mind.”
This event is supported by the Scottish International Storytelling Festival (SISF), and it is organised by the Grampian Association of Storytellers (GAS) as part of the Aberdeen & Beyond Storytelling Festival and the Scottish International Storytelling Festival (SISF), organised by TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland).
