This series of workshops are provided for FREE and are proudly sponsored by Neami National- Suicide Prevention Team. Places are limited.The one-hour workshops will include an art activity incorporating relaxation exercises with breathing strategies, grounding exercises, and education around feelings and emotions.
The Children's Workshops are facilitated by accredited mental health social worker and counsellor- Natalie Elphick, who manages our instore Counselling Clinic, providing counselling to individuals, couples, and families.
Small groups of up to 8 children. Children aged 5-12 years old.
Please note, that parents will not be permitted to participate in the workshops, if you expect your child will not feel comfortable to enter the counselling room by themselves, please contact Natalie to discuss one-on-one alternatives where we can facilitate parent involvement.
Parents are expected to stay nearby the complex; there is a lovely cafe a few shops up.
