Childrens Right to Play

This session is aimed at people who work for or with children or are interested in working for or with children.

This is a two-hour introductory session is designed to deepen understanding of children’s right to play in Scotland, based on the United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child. This is a fun interactive session with plenty of opportunity for discussion and working together. The session is focussed on children’s right to play, so it is not a practical training on play activities

By the end of the training participants will have:

• An increased understanding of children’s right to play

• Increased knowledge and understanding and be able to nurture commitment to article 31 (United Nation Convention on Rights of the Child especially rights to play)

• Inspiration on practical outcomes.
