Children's Painting Class - September 2026
About this Event
Join local artist Sarah Opatz as she teaches your kiddos step-by-step how to create a colorful acrylic painting. Your child will leave with a fully completed masterpiece for you to hang proudly at home.
Location: Community room at East View Coffee in Kenosha, WI.
Cost: $21 (plus taxes and fees) per child
Only 12 spots available
Recommended for children 5 years and older
Parent or Guardian must be present on site during entire duration of class (go enjoy a delicious East View coffee or treat).
All painting supplies will be provided: brushes, acrylic paint, palette, water, and one 8x10 canvas.
Aprons will NOT be provided. Bring your own apron or have your child wear sacrificial clothes and shoes.
The Painting:
This month's painting will be of Greg the Robot! Kids can make it their own by changing up the background color, adding different shapes and designs on the robot, etc. Your child is also welcome to paint their own thing; just note that Sarah will be walking everyone step-by-step through this painting and will not have time for separate instructions.
