The Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents its annual Children’s Orchestra Concert on Thursday, June 18, with two morning performances in Celeste Theatre, Cornerstone Arts Center.
These concerts are FREE for all, but tickets are required due to high demand with limited space, and seats sell out quickly each year. Patrons are welcome to check at the door whether seats are available due to no-shows if tickets have sold out online.
This year, the Festival Orchestra will perform Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, featuring guest artist Bill Bowers, mime, along with Virginia Barron, narrator, and accompanied by artwork created by students from the FAC's Bemis School of Art.
The CC Summer Music Festival runs June 6-26 with dozens of free and ticketed events for all ages. For more information, call (719) 389-6552 or visit coloradocollege.edu/musicfestival.
