As a part of our Summer Series of events, we are hosting a huge school holiday program of workshops for children aged 5+ from the 26th Dec – 22nd Jan.

Workshop: Children's natural material illustration art class with Claire Kennett

Date: Friday, 6th January 2023

Ages: 5-12 years

About: Claire Kennett is a renowned local mixed media artist who connects with the community through children's art classes. In this art class children will choose from natural materials collected from the garden, including flowers and branches, then create an illustration using pens and water colours to take home. Materials supplied.

Duration: 1 Hour

Location: Fox Creek Wines Cellar Door lawns (under the shade of a marquee).

About the School Holiday Program at Fox Creek Wines.

We understand how tricky it is to keep the kids busy over the holidays and find affordable activities for them to do. That’s why we have engaged with local artists and gurus of their field to create a massive school holiday program that will be sure to get the kids off of their devices and into the outdoors. Sign-up for one of our school holiday workshops where will be outdoors and surrounded by our beautiful Cellar Door gardens. They will be guided by a local well-renowned artist or guru to create, craft and construct, while you relax at our Cellar Door. Or make a day of it and enjoy one of the free family-friendly movies scheduled on our Outdoor Cinema Screen before or after.

All activities include all of the materials and guidance needed to complete the task or activity.

Please note that parents are required to remain on the Fox Creek Wines premises while children are participating in workshops. There are food and drink options available as well as free Outdoor Cinema movies showing on the big screen.
