About this Event
This half-day class is the perfect fit for you if you have just started out, or have never even used a sewing machine before. We will teach you:
- How to choose an appropriate stitch.
- How to use a sewing machine - reverse stitch, starting and finishing your work.
- Changing stitch length.
- How to safely press your work for the best results.
- How to make and attach a cuff.
- How to thread through a ribbon tie.
You will feel comfortable using a machine, so that together we can make a Carrot Treat Bag by the end of the class.
All materials will be provided.
This class is designed to help you gain the confidence you need to continue your sewing journey once you get home. Learning some of the basic rules of sewing will give you the best start to help you flourish in your new hobby.
