The Children's GatheringCelebrating the Natural Art of Being a Child -- an event in incubation -- these dates are off by three years as if SP22o -- Memorial Day Weedend 2025
Event Mission – To bring our community together to celebrate children in their naturally, dynamic environment - wild and free wherever they are! – fresh minds, fresh ideas, beauty, natural thinking
We are projecting a 3 day Event, Memorial Day Weekend 2022
Day 1 PICNIC, GAMES AND HIKES, followed byDay 2 am CREATIVE WORKSHOPS, followed by a Children's Art Show the following weekend.
*Building for 2022; this event is in incubation and detail are subject to update. *dates and address shown is postulated for entry into Facebook systems. Projected sites for Children's Gathering 2022 include Glen Echo Park and the Clintonville Resource Center or ~Tanglewood, 4094 Olentangy River Road. Saturday Gathering Reception, Picnic and Games
.12noon Picnic! Every one is welcome! Please feel free to bring a dish to share!
.2-4pm Natural Games

-- Scavenger Hunt
.4pm-5 or fin Nature Hike to find wildflowers, evidence of animals, songbirds, identify trees plus more.
Monday Children's Creative Workshops and Children's Art Show
.11am Workshops Opening with 'Guide through building Your Own Pollinator, Butterfly, Faerie Garden
.1230-230pm Followed by Handmade Paper Making
.230-3pm Intermission
3pm-5pm Paper-craft Model Making like Journals and Decoupage Note boxes
.5pm-6pm or fin Closing with a Children's Art Show, the following weekend.
The Children's Art Show -- Brought to you by the Beauty of Children ...will present Children's Work from the Children's Gathering Creative Workshops, plus any “Found” Art that the Children would like to exhibit -- pieces that the children have made from natural or recycled/repurposed components --
RE Featured pieces -- please do feel free to talk to us about featuring your child’s work.

The Children's Workshops are FREE for registered Children;
We humbly suggest your donation of $10/workshop entry.
Workshop Entry Space is Limited to 18 children for this creative day.
