Meet & greet local children's authors & illustrators! Open to all ages, from kids to adults! Books for toddlers, children and middle schoolers! Autographed books make great gifts for the holidays! The creators will be available at tables to chat & sign books from 10 Am - 12PM in the Gordon Room. Feel free to drop in for a few minutes or stay for any or all of the creators' presentations. Details below:
Meet the Creators
Kirsti Call, author of the hilarious Cold Turkey, Cow Says Meow, Mootilda's Bad Mood and The Big Scream! A therapist, her books are both full of silly puns and great for social-emotional learning.
Ellen Crenshaw, illustrator of Stacey's Mistake and the newly released Kristy and the Walking Disaster from the graphic novel Baby-Sitter's Club series, and more.
Carol Gordon Ekster, former teacher and author of Trucker Kid and Some Daddies!
Betsy Ellor, science lover and author of My Dog Is Not a Scientist!
Josh Roberts, author of the spooky adventures, The Witches of Willow Cove and the brand new The Curse of Willow Cove! His debut novel received starred reviews from Kirkus and School Library Journal, and was a Massachusetts Book Awards Must-Read and a Kirkus Book of the Month.
Marcia Strykowski, author of realistic novels for middle schoolers, Roller Boy, Amy's Choice and Call Me Amy! The latter 2 take place along the Maine seacoast.

10:15 AM: Kirsti will read Mootilda's Bad Mood and host a little singalong!
10:30 AM: Carol will read each of her books for you, Some Daddies and Trucker Kid. She'll also have coloring pages for the kids!
10:45 AM: Betsy will present her picture book!
11:00 AM: Ellen will show us how to draw Kristy from The Baby-Sitter's Club!
11:15 AM: Josh will talk about his books!
11:30 AM: Marcia will give a 2-minute presentation and show you how to make Turkey Apple Crafts, which are featured in Amy's Choice. She'll have supplies for you to take & make one at home!
