Arts in the Park 2021’s theme is scale and perspective. Our projects will focus on changing the way we view and interpret the world around us: Low, Small, High, Far, Close, and Giant through painting, mixed-media sculpture, printmaking, clay, and fibers.
June 19th - Low
Working from an insect’s point of view, artists will build bugs, create wings and weave a giant web.

June 26th - Small
Objects from a scavenger hunt will inspire drawings and collage – both small & giant.

July 10th - High
Imagine the world from a bird’s perspective to create aerial maps, bird paintings, and paper mâché sculptures.

July 17th - Far
Create the illusion of space through perspective drawings and a constructed cardboard landscape.

July 24th - Close
Invent a magical space through woven wands, bubble paintings and fairy doors.

July 31 - Giant
From flower prints, build large-scale flower sculptures & model forest faces with clay.
