Join us for a FREE Children's Art Discovery Class focused on the concept of still-life, a classic genre of painting that consists of arranged objects. After a scavenger hunt in the gallery, we'll have the opportunity to create our own still-life artworks, working from life and using a collection of objects in the gallery!Intended for ages 5-12.
These family-friendly events provide a fun and educational opportunity for children in the community to learn about the different aspects of art-making including color, values, perspective, and design. Our goal is to help children see the artworks in our gallery through an artist's eye with discussions, hands-on learning, and art-making experiences.
