Enjoy an afternoon of community celebration as we cut the ribbon on the newest section of the Children of the Sun Trail at Wildhorse Park!DETAILS
We'll have corn hole, lawn Jenga, a tricycle obstacle race, and a few other lawn games! Grab a coffee from Derailer Coffee or some Kona shaved ice and tour the booths from 1 to 4 p.m. The ribbon cutting will take place at 1:30 p.m. with speakers and performances.
PARKING
Please walk, bike, or roll to the park, if you're able! If you need to drive, staff will be on hand to assist in parking. Street parking is available on East Empire Avenue and in the dirt lot located at East Garfield Avenue.
DIRECTIONS
Coming from I-90 use the Freya/Thor interchange and travel north on North Freya Street. Continue Straight onto North Greene Street, which turns into North Market Street. At Euclid Avenue turn right and head east followed by a left turn heading north on North Freya Street. Then turn left on East Empire Avenue with the park on your right.
