Children of the Rainbow Park Community Cleanup

Due to recent City requirements, volunteers are required to share their vaccination status or proof of a negative test to volunteer at City led volunteer events. On the day of the volunteer event please be ready to present to staff:

Your vaccination card, picture of your vaccination card or your State of California QR code/digital card in-person AND government issued ID.

Or

A negative COVID-19 test result within 7 days of the volunteer event in which you are participating AND government issued ID. Test must include name, specimen collection date and result.

**This requirement applies to volunteers who are currently eligible to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine.​​​​**

If you prefer not to share your vaccination status or test results, we encourage you to delay your participation in volunteer events and return when you are comfortable in providing the required information or until guidelines change.

If you lost your physical vaccine card, please go to the website below to access your vaccination record digitally. Save your QR code to your phone and present it at the event. https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/

If you need to be tested, free testing sites can be found throughout the county. Results take 1-3 days to return. You can set up a test appointment here: https://covid19.sccgov.org/covid-19-testing

No experience is necessary! All tools and instruction will be provided. Please bring a filled water bottle, snacks and wear closed toe shoes.

Dress for the weather! The event will be held, rain or shine!

Important-All COVID-19 protocols will be followed for now. Please wear appropriate face coverings and stay home if you are sick. Temperature checks are required before entry.

Please download the Volunteer Service Agreement and bring the form with you to the event. Extra forms are available at the registration table on the day of the event!

Note: All persons under 17 must have a parent's signature . Community service hours will be given to middle and high school students.
