Children of Lucy is a new instrumental sextet, drums percussion bass guitar, and two horns, a dance band that plays original music based on themes rhythms, and harmonies from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and our own USA.
A C Lewis, drummer, and bandleader, transcribes and composes music representing the most popular traditions from these sources. From 20 years as a Timpanist/Percussionist with the San Francisco Symphony, and his experience as a composer and orchestral conductor, he pulls together a beautiful mix of sounds that have never been heard before.
Come early and stay late, enjoy craft cocktails and bar bites-
