BUILDING SUPPORT FOR KINSHIP CAREGIVERS

Parenting kids who have experienced trauma is one of the toughest and most rewarding roles. This 3 part trauma-informed training will provide caregivers with insight on how to better address their child's needs. This training can serve as a bridge to support as well as provide an in depth introduction into trauma-informed care.

Cassandra Quinn and Diane Sweinhagen will be presenting at this event. Cassandra has a BA and 30+ years of foster care and adoption experience. Diane Sweinhagen is a LPCC-S and she is the clinical director at the Sophia Center.

Caregivers who successfully complete the series will receive a gift card incentive provided by the Sophia Center. Gift card value and distribution upon program completion will be determined by the Sophia Center.
