About this Event
The Community of Practice (CoP) is a half-day event focused on supporting and sharing good practices in child safety. The CoP is also an opportunity to network with other professionals working in child safety in organisations across Victoria.
This CoP will put a spotlight on grooming. This will help your organisation to understand, identify and appropriately respond to grooming and suspected grooming behaviours.
You will hear from the Acting Principal Commissioner and other expert speakers, as well as take part in roundtable discussions. A full agenda will be shared closer to the event.
What to expect
Morning tea will be provided with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
This is a free event, but registration is essential.
Who can attend
This event is open to people from organisations who are subject to the Child Safe Standards and regulated by the Commission for Children and Young People. See who the Commission regulates.
We anticipate high demand for this topic; places are therefore limited to one registration per organisation to ensure fairness.
