April 18 will present a unique opportunity for you to become better acquainted with more people affiliated with women-focused organizations in Chico. This meeting allows us to better understand the mission and goals of organizations like the Chico Women's Club, Soroptimists, PEO (Philanthropic Education Organization), Omega Nu, and the League of Women Voters.Each organization, including AAUW, will make a short presentation to the participants about why they exist and what their group contributes to our community. A light brunch and social time will precede these more formal talks and give you the chance to meet new people. After all, we are natural allies on the same side. We all support women in some way. Let's learn more about each other.
We ask for a $10 contribution from each person attending to cover costs.
