All are welcome to the Cathedral Carol Service, a celebration of Christmas in a service of lessons, congregational carols and music sung by the Cathedral Choir.There are four opportunities to attend this year's Carol Service:
Thursday 18th December at 6.00pm
Friday 19th December at 6.00pm
Saturday 20th December at 3.00pm
Sunday 21st December at 3.00pm (also livestreamed)
Doors will open one hour before each service. This service has a duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
For over 950 years, Chichester Cathedral has been a place of worship, welcome and community. Now, in 2025, it costs us approximately £7,000 a day to maintain the Cathedral.
Chichester Cathedral does not receive any regular funding from government or from central church sources, and relies heavily on generous donations.
A cash collection will be taken during this service. We kindly ask you to make a donation to help to secure the future of this Cathedral.
