Conga Music Competitions Rules: (Congas will be provide on Stage)
1. Heat Competition for first 3 weeks (3 people chosen every week) = freestyle Conga playing without music for 1:00 minute & your personal music played for 1:00 minute.
2. Bring your Own Music (MP3, or email file to us @ [email protected])
3. Tricks, props, and shines- allowing all of these
4. You could Bring your own Conga’s (Must be set up before 9pm – day of competition)
5. Amateur Conga Status: An amateur Conga player is someone who has never played for any money from performing. An amateur Conga player may teach, but may not receive money in order to maintain amateur status. An amateur Conga player may perform locally and internationally at events, gigs etc. as long as there has not BEEN any monetary compensation to the amateurs.
