About this Event
**What is the future of MEDIA? What kind of media system is worth fighting for? What does it truly mean to persist, resist and create in service of a multiracial democracy?**
To understand the stakes we must journey to Chicago, where generations of truth-tellers have resisted a media and political machine determined to suppress the truth and beauty of Black life.
Chicago's Black Future Newsstand invites you to reckon with the media, political, and narrative harm that’s taken place, wrapped in a defiant celebration of the truths that have persevered and the abundant possibilities of media and tech repair.
