Chicagoland postdocs social event

Take a break from the lab and join fellow postdocs for a relaxing afternoon by the lake!
The UIC, University of Chicago, and Northwestern Postdoctoral Associations are excited to host a summer beach social designed to bring together postdocs from across the Chicagoland area.
Whether you're new to Chicago or have been here for years, this is a great opportunity to step away from your busy schedule, unwind, meet researchers from different institutions, exchange ideas, and hear about the exciting work your peers are doing, all in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
We'll be gathering on the sand near Castaways Beach Club, so come enjoy the lakefront, make new friends, expand your professional network, and simply have a fun afternoon with the postdoc community.
What's included?

• Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
• Feel free to bring your favorite beach games, a beach blanket or chair, and anything else that helps you enjoy the afternoon.
• You're also welcome to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy responsibly and share with fellow postdocs if you'd like.
