Offshore Rooftop transforms into a sky‑level sanctuary for language, rhythm, and raw human truth. Set against sweeping views of Chicago’s shoreline and skyline, this one‑night showcase brings together some of the region's most dynamic voices in contemporary poetry for an evening that blends elegance, edge, and electric creative energy.
Hosted by poet James Hamilton, the internationally published poet and spoken word performance artist known for his immersive, emotionally resonant stage presence, the event invites audiences into a curated experience where storytelling meets atmosphere. Each performer steps into the open air with work that challenges, heals, provokes, and connects.
