Chicago Modern Quilt Guild

Founded in 2009, Chicago Modern Quilt Guild has 170 members from the Chicago area. The “Take the Shirt Off My Back” challenge consisted of using shirts from family, friends and the artists’ own closets, to create a quilt true to each maker’s aesthetic. At the core is consciousness of the widespread waste in the textile industry.
Combined Art Reception: Saturday, November 15, 2025, 6:30- 8:30 pm, featuring a Fashion Show with local creators and some members of Chicago Modern Quilt Guild.
