Chicago Climate Connect
About this Event
Join Chicago Climate Connect at our event sponsor TeamWorking by TechNexus for an evening with Chicago’s climate-minded community.
The event will feature a panel discussion on the bipartisan nature of climate action and the importance of building solutions that can bring together perspectives across industries, communities, and political lines. The panel will include:
- Matthew Roling - Executive Director of the Abrams Climate Academy, at Northwestern's Kellogg School, a fellowship program designed to address the urgent challenges of climate change.
- Maryanne Colter - State Coordinator for Braver Angels, the nation's largest cross-partisan, volunteer-led movement to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic.
- Michael Boeke - Moderator and co-founder of Chicago Climate Connect
We'll explore some of the ways that climate and environment relate to conservative values and how we can bring more people into working on the climate challenge.
As always, we'll also have plenty of time for open networking and conversation!
When: June 18 | 6:00–8:00pm
Where: TeamWorking by TechNexus | 20 N Wacker Dr 12th Floor
