Francisco Gonzalez-Pulido joins YP members to discuss the storied history and global positioning of Chicago’s architecture.Architecture has long been a visible expression of both national power and international exchange. In Chicago, the birthplace of the skyscraper, architecture is more than a backdrop; it has been a symbol of innovation and civic identity since the 1893 World's Fair. What role does the built environment play in shaping diplomacy and cultural influence? How has Chicago's architecture historically positioned the city on the global stage, and in what ways is Chicago continuing to lead global conversations on architecture and design? Members of our Young Professionals network are invited to join Francisco Gonzalez-Pulido for a wide-ranging conversation on the city’s architectural history and its global significance.
This event will consist of a 30-minute program and one hour of networking. The event location will be shared with registrants closer to the event date.
