**Chew's Yard Book Club – July Meeting**
Join us for our next Chew's Yard Book Club meeting on Thursday 9 July at 7:30pm, where we'll be discussing *Cat's Eye* by Margaret Atwood.
First published in 1988, Cat's Eye is a powerful and thought-provoking novel about friendship, memory and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. The story follows artist Elaine Risley as she returns to Toronto for a retrospective of her work and reflects on her complex relationship with a group of childhood friends, particularly the charismatic and unsettling Cordelia.
The group is relaxed, welcoming and open to everyone, whether you're a regular attendee or joining us for the first time. Many members arrive early to enjoy food and drinks before the discussion begins.
We'll be meeting in the Chew's Yard food and drink hall, or in the garden if the weather allows.
