An Evening with the Chet Set: Chet Baker Sings and More. Join us for an all star Jazz Club to remember.In a special extended version of his Jazz at the Central set, American trumpet player and vocalist Pete Tanton is joined by Newcastle-based Mark Robertson, drums, Alan Law, piano, and Mick Shoulder, bass to present An Evening with the Chet Set: Chet Baker Sings and More. Featuring highlights from the 1956 album Chet Baker Sings, the quartet brings a blend of musicianship and storytelling to present an authentic American reading of the Chet Baker phenomenon. They have been touring this in the Northeast for the past year have just recorded an EP which will be available in 2024.
