CHESS MASTER IN RESIDENCE

Did you know that in 2023 reported a jump in chess users from 7 million to over 10 million people and growing across all age groups? To tap in to this growing popularity, and just in time for cozy fall evenings, in Washington, DC has partnered with national chess master, David Bennett, to introduce a Chess Master in Residence series. Launching this October, guests and locals can enjoy an evening of chess challenges while sipping on themed cocktails such as the King's Old Fashioned or Knight Rider Mule and snacking on light bites from the 'Checkmate Menu' including Rook's Risotto Bites, Pawn Poppers, Checkmate Chocolate CrunchBar and more. The series officially kicks off Thursday, October 10th.
