Following the success of prior Cheshire Women in Business events, Tricia and Kirsty will once again unite to deliver a summer lunch event for Women in Business in the Cheshire and surrounding region.
Once again, this summer event will include plenty of quality networking and several talks that focus on female health and wellbeing.
We shall be returning to Groobarbs for a real field-to-fork experience in a barn overlooking the field where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a 3 course tasting menu. A non-alcoholic welcome drink will also be available on arrival with a licensed bar is available for further drink purchases.
Women in business will be offered an event that is fun and supportive and which promises connections and learning. Great opportunities for networking both informally in the room and over lunch.
NEW for 2026 - An optional tour of the farm to understand more about award-winning Groobarbs Field Kitchen Cheshire business and the bespoke field-to-fork menu they will be serving.

15.00 – Close of structured programme and open networking till 15.30.

Laura Taylor – The Breast Awareness Clinic
Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in breast oncology and founder of The Breast Awareness Clinic for the Prediction, Prevention and Early Detection of breast cancer. Currently at the Nightingale Centre at Manchester Foundation Trust where she has been for over 15 years. Laura has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and delivery of breast cancer treatment. The Breast Awareness Clinic is the first of its kind in the UK. It is in association with the Prevent Breast Cancer Charity and Prevent Cancer UK, with our overall aim to prevent and predict through education, breast examination and genetic testing.

Lucy Coyne – Medical Director, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist at CARE Fertility
Lucy studied medicine at Nottingham University Medical school qualifying in 2004 and subsequently completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in both Mid Trent and Mersey. During her training she worked as a Clinical Fellow in Reproductive medicine at The Hewitt Fertility Centre, Liverpool gaining experience in infertility and IVF. Lucy completed advanced training study modules in both Benign Gynaecology – open and laparoscopic and Advanced labour ward Practice. Lucy was awarded a place on the BSGE Surgical Masterclass Course gaining experience in Advanced laparoscopic surgery in both the UK and Europe. She was lead question writer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for many years for the Specialty Recruitment process for doctors entering Specialty Training and has an interest in Medical Education. Lucy is a member of the British Menopause Society and has a specialist interest in menopause, post reproductive health, reproductive medicine and infertility, early pregnancy, general gynaecology and medical education.
Lucy grew up in Aughton and currently works as Medical Director at Care Fertility Cheshire and Liverpool. Lucy’s most recent interest is providing educational sessions in the workplace and raising awareness of women’s health concerns. Lucy has provided talks for events at JD Sports including a collaboration with The King’s Trust and has also presented a wellness event for EFT construction.

Refunds will not be possible within 14 days of the event.
