Come see macroinvertebrates up close and learn about the Cherry Creek ecosystem in this free, family-friendly, and interactive program at the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday June 17th at 1PM! In partnership with East Stroudsburg University and the Friends of Cherry Valley NWR, join Dr. Paul Wilson, Director of the Environmental Science Program at East Stroudsburg University to learn about his research on the health of the Cherry Creek before and after habitat restoration efforts. Participants will have the option to enter the Cherry Creek; adult size 7 and above waders will be available to use or bring your own waders/hip boots (waders/boots will have to be sterilized first). Light refreshments will be provided prior to the program.
