This exhibition, Cherry Blossoms and Green Fields, celebrates the vibrant artistic and cultural exchange between students from Dalton school in Tokyo, Japan and Highworth Grammar School, Kent. The artwork explores themes of natural landscape, urban life, and the convergence of tradition and modernity, as viewed through the unique perspectives of young Anglo-Japanese artists. By juxtaposing the iconic imagery of the cherry blossom (sakura) with the characteristic greenery of the Kent countryside, the show fosters a visual dialogue that bridges continents and showcases shared human experience.
