Celebrate the arrival of spring with the vibrant pale pink and white cherry blossoms that create a stunning backdrop to the Tidal Basin. A gift from Japan to the United States in 1912 these 3,000 trees have withstood the test of time. We will begin our day with a narrated driving tour featuring some stops at various monuments and photo opportunities along the way. Our driver will both educate and entertain you with fascinating history and insider stories about our Nation's Capital. Lunch will be at the popular restaurant The Fish Market (with a selected lunch menu) in Old Town Alexandria. After lunch, we will begin our way to see the cherry blossoms and our nation's capital. Afterward, we will depart home, with a fast food stop.
