Designed for students with some basket weaving experience, this four-week workshop explores the art of twill basketry through the creation of a striking floor basket in an elegant urn shape. Over four three-hour sessions, participants will learn the fundamentals of twill construction, including how to build a twill base, execute the dramatic double-diamond twill pattern, and shape the basket into a graceful urn form. Emphasis will be placed on technique, structure, and pattern development. Students will leave with an impressive, functional basket—perfect to enjoy at home or present as a memorable handmade gift.
Saturdays in October! Beginning October 3, 2026 10AM - 1PM ET.
