About this Event

This workshop teaches the cameraless photographic process, chemigram printing, from a kincentric ecological perspective. We will be working with light sensitive paper and plant relatives as our collaborators to create unique and colorful photographic prints.
Participants are encouraged to bring objects with which they would like to make photograms. Objects may include: leaves, flowers, stencils, feathers, keys, coins, translucent fabric, drawings on acetate/transparency film, digital negatives or anything that has an interesting silhouette. Three-dimensional objects may also be used but will produce a softer sillhouette. These may include glass, jewelry, plastic objects etc.
Please wear clothing you do not mind getting stained and keep in mind that the objects you bring may also get stained. Gloves and clear transparency film will be provided to keep wet chemistry separated from objects or negatives if needed."
