Join us this summer for our 115th Season! Chemical City Band is excited to be back once again to provide free band concerts in the Nicholson-Guenther Band Shell in Central Park on Wednesdays during the summer. Concerts start at 7:30pm. Family & pet friendly!The Chemical City Band (CCB) is one of Midland's finest traditions. Operating since 1910, the group has performed free concerts for the community during the summer months and represents musicians from age 16 to 90 who come from all walks of life. The performances, conducted by Steven DeRees, include a pleasant mix of featured soloists, medleys of show tunes, light classics, and of course, marches.
CCB is a non-profit 501(c)(3), please consider a donation to help us keep this 115-year tradition going! Cash/check donations can be made at any concert via the two stragically located snare drum shells located among the audience or sent directly to the Chemical City Band, P.O. Box #2454, Midland, MI 48641. Alternatively, donations toward our long term investment fund can be sent to the Midland Area Community Foundation, 76 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI 48640.
