Chelsea Wolfe draws inspiration from everything dark, from black metal, to dark ambient, to Scandinavian folk. Her thin voice, experimental electronics and distortion effects on guitar result in ominous, alienating songs. With 'She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She', her latest album, the singer makes a powerful statement about personal growth and authenticity. "It's a record about the past self reaching out to the present self reaching out to the future self to summon change, growth, and guidance," says Wolfe, "It's a story of setting yourself free from situations and patterns that are holding you back, in order to become self-empowered.
